It is with great sadness that the family of Lumina “ Mina” Sisk, wife of late Francis “Frank” Sisk announces her passing on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 92.

Born in Grande-Anse, she was the daughter of the late Evarist and Olga (Godin) Blanchard.

Lumina was a member of the Filles D’Isabelle.

She is survived by two sons: Steven (Annie Frenette) and Jerry both of Beresford.

A granddaughter Britney and a great grandson, Sami.

Her sisters and brothers: Andréa Downing and Jean-Pierre Blanchard (Mireille) both of Grande-Anse, Eva Strathern (John) and Edna Budgell (John) both of Sackville, NB, Jules Blanchard (Joan) of Mississauga, ON, Réal Blanchard (Kathleen) of Scarborough, ON and Bernice Hellmich of Richmond Hill, ON.

Brother-in-law: Thomas Sisk (Madelaine) of Oro-Medonte, ON.

Sisters-in-law: Margaret Stackhouse of Saint John, NB, Ann Trusler (George Carey) of North Bay, ON and Mary Henry (Jim) of Miramichi, NB.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Raoul and Edward, sisters, Odette, Rita and Ella.

Visitation for Lumina will be on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Beresford until time of funeral which will be held at 4 p.m. from St. Nom de Jesus Church, Beresford.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the employees of the Foyer Chez Annie for all the care and love given to our mother over the past 11 years.
