Bathurst - Leo Frenette, 81, of Dale Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (February 23, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Leofred and Anna (Fournier) Frenette. He worked as an Administrator at the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill and at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. He was a long time member of the Pastoral Council of St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Besides his wife, Rose Marie (Roy) Frenette, he is survived by: One daughter: Catherine Frenette of Miramichi One son: Peter Frenette of Calgary, AB One brother: Aurele Frenette (Patricia Chamberlain) of Bathurst One sister: Doris McLellan (Hugh) of Peterborough, ON Several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning (February 27, 2008) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
