Bathurst - Mrs. Mary Knowles, 86, wife of the late Douglas Knowles, formerly of Clifton, passed away on Monday (November 22, 2010) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst

Born in Norton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Gertrude Elizabeth (Allaby) MacKinnon.
 
She was pre-deceased by her husband Douglas in 1995 and is survived by; two sons; Darwin and Stephen, both of Clifton.  Two daughters; Carol Charles (Geoffrey) of Listowel, ON, Nancy Knowles of Bathurst.  One sister; Anna Osinga of Kitchener, ON.  2 grandchildren; Geoffrey Charles, Gail Gabriel, 4 great-grandchildren; Tehya, Jayde, Tyson and Nicholas Gabriel, several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by 5 brothers; John, Angus, Archie, Alexander, Eric and 2 sisters; Dorothy and Winnifred.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. from Christ Church Anglican, Clifton.  Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.  Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Christ Church Anglican Fund, the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes Foundation or a favorite charity.
