Frederick J. Himmelman 

Bathurst NB – Fred Himmelman , 67, of Rosehill NB, passed away Friday (December 24, 2010) in the hospital in Sept Isle, QC.

Born in Rosebay, NS he was the son of the late Lemuel and Mary (Hayward) Himmelman.

Fred spent many years working with the Royal Bank of Canada and Toronto Dominion Bank.  He will be remembered for his love for fishing, hunting and recently his passion for taking and sharing many wonderful photos.

He was predeceased by wife Elizabeth (Liz) (Lacey) and niece Tracey (Himmelman) Graves.

He is survived by son Dana (Nicole) Himmelman of Halifax, NS, daughter Carol (Louis) Landry of Moncton, NB, step children Barbara (Chris), and Dwight (Jeanette) Robinson  both of NS .

Grandchildren Michael, Bradley, and Brennah Himmelman, Sophie Landry, Christopher Caddell, Michael, Bradley and Joel Robinson.  Brother Jack (Donna) Himmelman of Yarmouth NS, and nephew John (Susan) Himmelman. Also survived by first wife & good friend Linda Joseph. 

Fred will be sadly missed by many dear friends, especially his best friend “Sammy”

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday (January 8, 2011) at 2:30 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St., Bathurst, with Rev. Austin Jagoe officiating.  Donations in memory of Frederick may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton`s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
