Bathurst - Mrs. Emily Sargent, 84, of Queen St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (July 28, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Sarah (Ward) Morrison. She worked as a clerk at the former W. J. Kent & Co. She was pre-deceased by her 1st husband, Eloi Goldrup and her second husband Byron Sargent. She is survived by: Two sons: Don Goldrup (Mary) of Orangeville, ON Hugh Sargent of Grand Prairie, AB 4 Daughters: Marnie Baldwin (Mike), Sally Sargent and Renee Ward (Ron), all of Grand Prairie, AB Judy Green (David) of Florida, USA Two brothers: Sinclair Morrison (late Louise) of Salmon Beach Leigh Morrison (Evelyn) of Bathurst Two sisters: Elsie Reid (late Harvey) of Ottawa, ON Ruby Clark (late George) of Bathurst 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Harvey, brothers, Harley, Weldon, Earl, and a sister, Verna. The body rested at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service was held on Sunday (August 1, 2004) at 2:00 p.m. from St. Lukes Presbyterian Church, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial was in the Highland View Cemetery, Bridge St.
