Saint John : Eldon Chetley, 85, died Wednesday March 23 2005 at Ridgewood Veterans Wing in Saint John and formerly of Rough Water Dr. Bathurst. Born in Saint John son of late John and Edith (Miller) Chetley and foster son of late Mr. & Mrs David Miller of Saint John. He was a veteran of the Second World War and served Overseas. He worked at the Bathurst Power & Paper Mill and Brunswick Mining as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. His wife the former Aura Jay (Susie) Clouston died in 1993. He is survived by 3 daughters: Scarlett Cormier (Eric), Catherine Caissie (Ed) both of Bathurst and Sheila Garrett (Greg) of Calgary, Alberta. A son in law: Allan Chiasson of Bathurst. 3 grandchildren: Shawn Cormier, Michelle Cormier and Justin Chiasson. A special friend Gladys Titus of Kingston Penninsula. He was pre deceased by one daughter Stella Chiasson. He was the last surving member of his family.
