Clifton - Carl Knowles, 63, of Clifton, died Wednesday (August 20, 2003) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Loraine (Deverne) Knowles and the late Gordon Knowles. He worked as a fisherman for most of his life. Besides his mother of Clifton, he is survived by: His wife, the former Jeanie (MacLeod) Knowles 4 Sons: Trevis Knowles (Lea) of Beresford Troy Knowles (Zoe) of U.S.A. Tyson Knowles (Lisa) of Hamilton, ON Tyler Knowles of Clifton 2 Step-sons: Mark Kelly of Ottawa, ON Scott Kelly (Kim) of Oromocto, NB 1 Step-daughter: Tara Kelly Philbrick (Jay) of Dexter, Maine, USA 1 Brother: Ralph Knowles of Clifton 4 Sisters: Kay Addison (Don) of Delhi, ON Shelley Bigney of Janeville Betty Ann McLean (Bill) of Cornwall, ON Gail Knowles Louden (Ron) of Bathurst 2 gandchildren; Julia Megan and James Morgan 3 Step-grandchildren; Jade, Jana and Jovana. Several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Friday. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday afternoon (August 23, 2003) at 2:00 p.m. from Christ Church Anglican, Clifton. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
