It is with great sadness that we regret to announce the death of Jennifer (MacDonald) Devereau, wife of Greg Devereau of Bathurst, N.B. who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on March 2, 2023 at the age of 43.

Born in Saint John, N.B. on August 9, 1979. Jennifer was the daughter of Richard MacDonald and the late Linda (Tozer) MacDonald.

Jennifer was a loving wife, step-mother, sister, aunt and cousin. Her love for her family was above all. We take comfort knowing she is now in the arms of her mother, Linda.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Greg Devereau; Step-Son, Brendon (Emma McCulloch) Devereau; Step-Daughter, Madyson Devereau of all whom she adored; Brother, Bradley (Jessica Dickie) MacDonald; Sister, Angela (Shane) Allen; Grandmother, Barbara Doucet; Uncles, Robert (Margaret) Tozer, Thomas (Paula) MacDonald; Aunts; Debbie Mills O’Bryant, Nancy (Ernest) Fowlie, Diane (Romeo) Manuel, Karen (Paul) Rose, many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Jennifer was a person who loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. She did not need material things to be happy because she flourished from the love of her family and friends, that is what made Jennifer her happiest. Jennifer was an Elementary School Teacher and that was her passion. She had such an impact on all the children she taught over the years, her students were everything to Jennifer and she considered them all her own. Jennifer touched the lives of so many people with her infectious personality, her boisterous laugh, her smile that could light up a room and her caring heart. She had an amazing outlook on life and this certainly showed during her battle with cancer. Jennifer people like you make the world a better place and your light will live on forever in all of us each and every day.
