Judy Carolyn (Lloyd) Glendenning

  • Judy Carolyn (Lloyd) Glendenning 1948-2023

  •  Date de décès: 06 avril 2023

April 6, 2023 at 14:33, Judy passed away peacefully with her husband Chester at her side, hand-in-hand, celebrating a life of 52 years 262 days of marriage. She will be truly missed by not only her husband Chester but her three children: Kathy, Christine and Jeff, her in-laws: Edward, Jason, & Erica and her 10 cherished grandkids: Amanda & Andrea, Paige & Jason, Jordan & Ryan, Zach, Corwin, Tane & Maclaina.

Judy was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. Judy graduated high school in 1967 in Regina. From there she entered nurse training in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, completing her Registered Nurse Degree in 1970. Judy’s RN working career started in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and ending in Langley B.C., retiring 2001 as to fill her days with her favorite past times.

Never looking back, Judy started travelling with her husband across Canada in their 5th- wheel. Her love for camping was never so apparent; she loved to camp. She loved gardening, where she made many flower beds around the property, especially her magnolia trees. She loved crocheting, word games, & knitting. One of her many cherished moments camping was 5th- wheeling with Christine and Jason and grandkids Paige, Jordan, and Ryan in Osoyoos, BC and Cannon Beach, Oregon. She loved the camping/ fishing trips to Chain Lake with Jeff, grandkids Zach, Corwin, Tane and later seeing our youngest granddaughter Maclaina helping Jeff and Erica out with the honeybees. Judy’s love for family continued when Kathy and Edward would join in on the camping or fishing excursions in the Shuswap with granddaughters Amanda and Andrea.

Judy is also survived by many in-laws in N.B., including Dotty Knowles and family, Elmer Glendenning and family, special friend Joy Glendenning, Hazel and Hanson Miller and family, Dora Mae and Laurie Knowles and family, Chip and Julie Glendenning and family.

Judy had a passion for cooking, baking, & canning. She managed to take time to enjoy the finer things like shopping and High tea occasions with family and friends. Judy’s final goodbye was a request for a family gathering, in our house, that she designed, with an Easter Monday turkey dinner with all the fixings. That was done on Monday 10 April 2023. Her Love of family, loyalty, camping and cooking will be reflected in their lives for years to come.

In loving memory, Judy, Mom, Grandma we all love you xoxo.
