Albanie “Johnny “was an amazing father and grandfather, He was loving, easy going and had a love for Fishing which he spent countless hours in search of trout, salmon or sea bass. He could always be found down by the wharf, at the falls or his closely guarded secret fishing holes whether it be with co workers, friends or his daughter and her friends teaching them the ropes and how to bait a hook.

He was known as the jokester in the family and at work with his funny antics and sly demeanour. he could make anyone laugh and always put a smile on Someone’s face.

At a young age he developed a love for softball, handed down from his father George who was an exceptional player in his own right who was once offered a professional tryout and is now a member of the Bathurst Sports Hall of Fame.

Johnny played for several teams including Danny’s Hawks, Bathurst Union Center and Brunswick Mines where he went on to become MVP for their provincial championship winning team.
