It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our mom, Mrs. Jeannette Duguay which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, on Monday November 6th, 2023, at the age of 90, with family at her side.

Born and raised in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Camille and Mabel (Power) Pinette.

Jeannette was the devoted wife of the late Richard Duguay.

Dearly beloved mother of: Wayne (Betty), Wesley (Claudette), Peter (Tina) all of Bathurst and Paul of Nova Scotia. Proud Mémère to: Brandon (Jen), Catrina, Stephanie, and Fallon and great grandchildren: Legacy Rose and Elisha.

She is survived by her sisters: Elsie Doucet (Joe) of Sudbury, ON, Melvina Vienneau (Bill) of Bathurst, Marion Reff (late Matthew) of Oshawa, Linda Derry (Bob) of Richmond Hill, ON, and a brother, Roger Pinette of Orono, ON; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters: Melinda Power, Stella MacLellan, Adeline Robichaud, Mabel Lanteigne, Florence Emmer and a brother Norman.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held from the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Bathurst on Tuesday November 14th, 2023, at 2 p.m.

In memory of Jeannette, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral in Bathurst. www.elhatton.com
