Marie-Rose “Rosa” Boily of Petit-Rocher passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 83.

Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Yvonne (Pelletier) Doucet.

Besides her partner, Gilles Grant, she is survived by four sons: Steven, Michael, Richard and David.

Six grandchildren: Crystal, Chantal, Patricia, Robert, Carolyn and Meaghan. Two great-grandchildren: Ayla & James and one other great-grandchild on the way.

She also survived by two sisters: Violet Arsenault and Lorraine Cachia.

As per Rosa’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. She will be interred with her husband Fernand in Bolton, Ontario.
