  •  Date de décès: 11 juillet 2025

It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we confirm that our beloved mother Constance Foran, 81, of Allardville, passed peacefully with her daughter and sister by her side on Friday July 11th, 2025 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.

Connie (known to most) was born in 1944 in Allardville and was the daughter of the late Victor Lavigne and Dorothy Vienneau:

She was a dedicated wife for 46 years, mother, grandmother and sister who was beloved by all her family and friends. She had a heart of gold. She was a very well- known pianist and organist in her parish for many years. She had a love of reading and bingo. She loved to cook and was very famous for her pies.

She married Francis Eugene Joseph Foran on October 10th, 1967. Mr. Foran passed on June 25th, 2014.

Surviving are her two daughters: Claudie (Michel) of Allardville and Marie (Roger) of Guatemala. Three grandchildren: Cassandra (Adam) of Bathurst, Francis and Emily of Guatemala.

One sister, Joan of Bathurst and one brother, Albert of Ontario.

Besides her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by two sisters: Connie and Claudia and three brothers: Richard, Norman and Lawrence.

We would especially like to thank the staff of the Manoir Brise de I’Oasis for taking such good care of our mother the last few years of her life.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral home in Bathurst. www.elhatton.com
