It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the death of Betty Rose (Christie) which occurred peacefully at the George Dumont Hospital, Moncton, on July 26th, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Allie and Edna (Kennedy) Christie.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Rose of Frankford, Ont. Daughter: Rhonda Lobsinger of Bathurst; Grand-Daughter: Amanda Loney of Bathurst; Great Grandchildren: Madison Bryer and Oliver Bryer both of Bathurst; Siblings: Wayne Christie (Diane) of Bathurst, Jean Christie of Keswick, Ont., Donna Cameron (Edgar) of Big River; her beloved fur baby Zoey, and as well as many uncles, aunts, cousin, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents and brothers Harold Christie and Raymond Christie.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19,2025 at 2pm at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst. Donations in Betty’s memory may be made to Hope for Wildlife (https://www.hopeforwildlife.net/) or a memorial of one’s choice.
