South Tetagouche - It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Brian Christie, of South Tetagouche, which occurred on Friday December 5, 2025, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 68.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Noëlla (Henry) Christie.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Brown) Caissie and two children:  Sarah Christie (Jon Visscher) of Valleyview, AB and Rachel Christie of Edmonton, AB.

Seven grandchildren: Faith, Talia, Nicholas, Braxtynn, Kiyah, Jace and Jake.

Two step-children: Kayla Gosse of Bathurst and Kristien Caissie of Moncton.

Two step-grandchildren: Ally and Emma.

His siblings: Lennie Christie of Oshawa, ON, Carmel Renton (Wayne Zaplachinski) of Alberta and Kevin Christie (Irene) of Big River.

As well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his brothers: Ronnie, Paul, Henry and a sister Karen Nowlan.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 10, 2025, at 11 a.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel.
