Mrs. Eva Stever, 87, wife of the late Aloysius "Wish" Stever, formerly of York St., Bathurst, died Sunday (16 July 2006) at the Bathurst Regional Hospital Center after a lengthy illness. Born in Tracadie, she was the daughter of the late Octave and Marie Jeanne (Savoie) Savoie. She was a life time member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Women’s League. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Aloysius Stever, in 2000. She is survived by: 1 Son: Peter Stever (Johane) of Bathurst Loving grandmother of 3 grandchildren; Melanie, Megan and Katherine Two brother: Edmond Savoie (Julienne) and Aurele Savoie both of Tracadie-Sheila Two sisters: Cecilia Savoie of Saint John, NB Malvina Robichaud (Antoine) of Tracadie-Sheila She was pre-deceased by a brother; Vincent. The body will rest on Tuesday from 2 to 4 at Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (July 18, 2006) at 4:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
