It is with sadness, that we, the family wish to announce the passing of Mrs. Myrtle Morrison, wife of the late Aurèle Morrison, formerly of Tremblay and Beresford, which occurred at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes in Bathurst on Thursday August 6th, 2026, at the age of 96. Born in Belledune, NB, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Guitard and the late Catherine Lejeune.

She is survived by two sons: Carl Morrison (Aline) of Tremblay and Mike Morrison of Richibucto, NB; grandchildren: Daniel (Catherine), Crystal (Yves) and Chris (Brune); great grandchildren: James, Eric and Malo, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the last living member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her brothers and siters: Clifford, Joe, Carl, Charles Gerald, Annette, Genevieve and Alma. 

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the St-Nom-de-Jésus cemetery in Beresford.

The family wish to extent their gratitude and sincere thanks to the staff of the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes for their compassion and care given to Myrtle during her stay.
