Nicholas Denys – It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Dorothy (Daigle) Imough, wife of the late Harold Imough, of Nicholas Denys, which occurred on Friday September 11, 2026, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 88.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Daigle and Yvonne (Chamberlain) Daigle.
She leaves behind daughters: Deborah Ann Boudreau (Jean-Marc), Sharon DeGrace (Robert) and Mona Imough all of Beresford, Susan Imough of Moncton, Glenda Imough of Nicholas Denys; two sons: Lloyd Imough (Angie Bizeau) of Riverview and Frederick Imough (Abnet Begna) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren: Jonathan, Patrick, Jennifer, Mathieu, Stefeny, Venessa, Johann, Zoe-Belle; step-grandchildren: Mia, Airyanna, and Karlie; Three sisters: Germaine Godin (Gerald), Angela Landry (Valmond), and Yolande Doucet (Leon); as well as sisters-in-law: Constance Daigle, Aldegone Daigle, Jeanne Daigle, Estelle Imough all of Bathurst, and Joan Thibodeau (Edgar) of Bellingham, Massachusetts; one brother-in-law: Arnold Imough (Jeannette Duguay) of Nicholas Denys; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she is pre-deceased by a great-grandson, Logan Jason Rheaume; sisters: Priscille, Jeannette, Emilia and bothers: Benoit, Emile, Lucien, Allain, and Marcel.
As per Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no visitations or funeral service. The family will hold a private fairwell gathering at a later date. The family would like to extend its thanks and gratitude to the staff in Palliative Care at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for their compassion demonstrated to Dorothy while under their care.
