  •  Date de décès: 01 octobre 2026

It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of John David Gray of Pabineau Falls, which occurred at his residence on Thursday, October 1st, 2026 at the age of 77.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Gordon and Mary (Lavoie) Gray.

He is survived by his brothers Byron and Auldon (Gail) and his sister, Florence Gray (Mike) all of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by 4 brothers: Eldon, Ronald, Bernard and Rudolph and one sister, Janice.

David served in the army and was a member of the legion. Following his time with the army he delivered mail. He was a Big Brother for many years, a registered river guide and a member of the Trout Association.

As a child, David was happiest when he had his screwdriver and something to take apart. He couldn’t wait for Christmas to see what toys we got. We had to hide them from him; he would take them apart and put them back together again. When computers came out, he purchased one, took it apart and put it back together again several times. From that time on, he worked at building and repairing computers. He loved music and became a DJ playing for many weddings, anniversaries and birthdays.

He will be missed by his family and never forgotten.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst.
