Petit-Rocher - Herbert Comeau, 78, of Petit-Rocher, passed away peacefully on Saturday (September 9, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a courageous battle with cancer Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late George and Anna (Arseneau) Comeau. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Aurelia (Vienneau) Comeau. His children: Brian Comeau of North York, ON Linda Novoa of Barry, ON Lorraine Hachey (late Larry) of Cambridge, ON Lorette Chambers (Scott) of New Market, ON Philip Comeau (Elaine) of Guelph, ON Two brothers: Ray Comeau (Thelma) of Burlington, ON George Comeau Jr. (Madeline) of Quebec City, Que. Four sisters: Yvonne Lavigne (Eric), Florence McLean and Kathleen Hachey, all of Bathurst Gladys DeGrace of Toronto, ON 7 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (September 12, 2006) at 4:30 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church (Eglise St. Nom de Jesus), Beresford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral.
