Riordon Doucet, 82, of King Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (January 19, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Francis P. and Celina (Vienneau) Doucet. He worked for the former Melanson Wholesalers. He is survived by: One sister: Bernadine Arseneau (Thomas) of Petit-Rocher Several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by 6 brothers; Clarence, Adelard, Alphée, Reginald, Donald, Roe, 3 sisters; Corinne, Beatrice and Rita. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday (January 22, 2007) at 4:00 p.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Monday from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral.
