Bathurst - Mrs. Marjorie Couture, 81, wife of the late Leonard Couture, of Blanchard Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Monday (February 5, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Rodney and Emily (Lavigne) MacDonald. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Leonard, in 1989. She is survived by: Six sons: Kenneth (Carol), Paul (Debbie), Leonard (Linda), Raymond and Gerry, all of Bathurst Frank (Verna) of Port Buril, ON Five daughters: Emily Roberts and Mable Huard, both of Trout Lake, ON Helen Couture (Edmond) and Marie Roy (Donald) both of Bathurst Theresa Doucet (Laurie) of Beresford Two brothers: Robert MacDonald (Margaret) of Bathurst David MacDonald (Wendy) of St. Thomas, ON Six sisters: Dorothy Howey (Donald) of St. Thomas, ON Stella André of St. Thomas, ON Agnes PhilBrow (George) of Winnipeg, MB Theresa Lavally (Jack) of Vancouver, BC Lena Morse (Steve) of Aylmer, ON Jeanette MacDonald (Bill) of Florida, USA 27 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by an infant daughter; Stella. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (February 8, 2007) at 2:00 p.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Carmel Cemetery, St., Mary's Ave., in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton`s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
