Mrs. Olga Levesque, 79, wife of Gérald Levesque, of Munro St., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (March 9, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint-André de Madawaske, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Levesque) Levesque. Besides her husband, she is survived by: One daughter: Ginette McLaughlin (Leigh) of Grand Sault Three sons: Robert (Carmen Bouchard), Gilles (Marjolaine) and Michel (Jeannie) all of Bathurst Four brothers: Gilbert (Geraldine Pelletier) of Grand Sault, NB Normand (Jeannette) of Saint-André, NB Irving (Yvonne) of Montreal, Que. Lionide (Clémance) of St. George, NB One sister: Madeleine Soucy (Lionel) of Grand Sault, NB 7 grandchildren; Yan André, Dylan, Janie, Myrian, Jillian, Michel-André "Ti-Mousse", and Josianne. Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers; Hubert, Gilbert, Alban, Théodore and a sister; Albertine. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (March 13, 2007) at 2:00 p.m. from Eglise Saint-André. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home and on Monday from Guy L. O'Regan's Funeral Home (www.oregans.ca), Grand Sault, NB, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 12:30 until time of Funeral. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
