Edouard Morin, 76, of Neil Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (March 10, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in Montauban des Mines, Que., he was the son of the late Damase and Albertine (Gagné) Morin. He worked as and Aeronautic Technician for the Canadian Military and later with Air Canada. He was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. Besides his wife, Denise (Grandmaitre) Morin, he is survived by: Two sons: Michel Morin (Wanda) of Moncton, NB Jean-Francois Morin (France) of Moose Jaw, SK Two daughters: France Payne (Lloyd) of Kingston, ON Monique MacLean (Richard Lanteigne) of Bathurst One brother: Henriot Morin (Solange) of Lac Aux Sables, Que. One sister: Gilberte Michel (Wilfred) of Ste Foy, Que. 7 Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday morning (March 13, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst, with Father Wesley Wade officiating.
