Salmon Beach - Mrs. Elsie Miller, 86, wife of the late Wayne Miller, of Salmon Beach, which occurred Thursday (January 1, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Stewiacke, NS, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Annie (Crawford) Hilchey. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Wayne, in 2000. She is survived by: One son: Allen (Marielle) of Janeville Four grandchildren; Lisa, Jennifer, Tim and Robert. Daughter-in-law: Susan Miller of Moncton Four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A sister: Irene Barbrick of Stewiacke, NS She was pre-deceased by a son; Gerald in 1993, brother; Carl and a sister; Lorna. The body is resting at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday (January 3, 2009) at 2:00 p.m. from the Bayview Baptist Church, O’Neil Dr. Bathurst.
