Bathurst - Ritchie MacIntosh, 82, husband of Martine (Haché) MacIntosh, of St. Camille St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (July 10, 2004) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Kingston, ON, he was the son of the late William Ritchie and Marguerite Amelia (McLaren) MacIntosh. He served in World War II, with the Royal Canadian Navy in Canada and the North Atlantic and was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. He worked for NB Power Point Lepreau in Saint John for many years until his retirement. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his wife, Martine (Haché) MacIntosh, he is survived by: Brothers-in-law: Camille Haché (Augustin) of Caraquet, NB Norbert Haché (Aline) of Moncton,NB Ernest Haché (Aline) of Grand Anse, NB Sisters-in-law: Anna Haché (late Armand) of Grand Anse, NB Several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers-in-law, Msgr. Vincent Haché and Armand Haché. The body rested at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass was be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (July 13, 2004) at 4:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave. Burial was in the Grand Anse cemetery. www.elhatton.com A Legion service was held at the Funeral Home Monday evening.
