It is with heavy hearts the family of Ashley Hickey-Lavigne, 26, of Bathurst, announces her passing on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, following a brief illness.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Stanley Lavigne and Jeannie Hickey of Bathurst.

She is survived by her son Curtis, sister Brittaney and grandmother Yvonne Hickey (late Coleman).

Her aunts Cindy (Roger) Flannigan and Tabatha (Steven) Branch, both of Moncton.

Several cousins.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 from Holy Family Church.

Donations in memory of Ashley may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for their care and compassion.
