Bathurst - It is with deep sadness the family of Nancy Goodfellow, of Bathurst, announce her sudden passing on Saturday May 7, 2022, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 79.

Born in Welland, ON, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Doris (Ratcliffe) Booker.

She leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Allan Goodfellow and two daughters: Robyn Goodfellow (Michel Pineau) of Bathurst and Kris Gibson (Brad) of Niagara Falls, ON.

She will be missed by her three granddaughters: Kayla Wilson (Stephanie), Megan Gibson, Ashlee Gibson (Zack Hussey) and her two great-grandsons: Mason and Alexander.

She also leaves behind her four brothers: Wayne (Georgia), John, Gary and Mark. Her only sister, Linda Bedard, who she stayed in close contact with. Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by a very special aunt, Lola O'Conner.

Nancy was a meticulous gardener and could make anything grow. She would spend hours making her flower gardens perfect. Many people would remember her for her special baked goods that she was eager to share with others. She had a kind giving heart and a deep love for dogs and cats. She spent much of her time caring for other people’s pets.

At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in her memory can be made to the SPCA, a local Animal Shelter or a favorite charity.

Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
