Rose-Marie Richardson, of Bathurst, beloved wife of the late Clovis Richardson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age 82.

Born in Bertrand, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Joséphine (Léger) Haché.

Rose-Marie was a remarkable woman and a dedicated mother who impacted so many lives. She was her family’s foundation and strength that held everyone together. She was known for her hard work, cooking skills and a compassionate caregiver. She loved cards with her friends during her free time. Her spirit, love, and laughter will live on through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Long live bingo!

She is survived by her children: Patricia Hazel of Saint John, Kevin Augustus (Sheryl), Julie Zelany both of Bathurst and George Augustus of St. Catharines, ON.

Eight grandchildren: Nicholas, Thomas, Cassandra, Zack, Noah, Brooke, Tyler and Angelica.

Five great-grandchildren: Ryah, Jayce, Lily, Ava and Christopher-Elliot.

Rose-Marie was the youngest of 13 children, survived by her 2 siblings Alex and Helen Haché.

Visitation will be held on Monday afternoon, May 29, 2023 from 1 pm until time of funeral at 2 pm from Elhatton Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com).

Donations in memory of Rose-Marie may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
