Susan Caissie, a loving mother, wife, and admirer of life’s simple gifts passed peacefully, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital surrounded by her beloved family on Wednesday April 30, 2025, at the age of 60.

Her passions included camping, fishing, creating, and immersing herself in the beauty of the outdoors. An artistic soul with a green thumb. Susan especially loved hummingbirds, dragonflies and shared a deep unconditional love with her husband and children.

She cherished her dogs, and the family finds comfort knowing they are together again. Susan’s legacy will live on through the love and experiences shared in the natural spaces she treasured.

She leaves to mourn her husband Lionel “Joey” Caissie.

Her mother Teresa May Chamberlain (Gionet).

Her two children: Ashley Caissie (Jean Rene Lagacé) of Moncton and Adam Caissie (Karen Hines) of Shediac.

She was predeceased by her father Thomas Chamberlain and her brother Wayne Chamberlain.

As per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.

The family would like to thank the palliative care team for the care given to Susan during her short stay. Donations in memory of Susan may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
