Beresford – Mrs. Doris Yaremko, of Beresford, passed away on Monday May 19, 2025, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 83.

Born in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Pitre) Chamberlain.

She is survived by her sons: Mark (Dina) of Beresford, John (Elizabeth Horne) of Burlington, ON, Paul (Helen) of Brooklin, ON and Daren (Carole) of Bradford, ON.

Seven grandchildren: Alexandre, Kathryn, Claire, Johnathan, Matthew, Mikael, Mia and one great-grandson, Callum.

Two brothers: William Chamberlain and Leonard Chamberlain.

One sister, Norma Chamberlain.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her partner of 40 years, Raymond Bertin (2022) and her brothers and sisters: Gerald, Rita Desnoyers, Clifford and Yvette Theriault.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 26, 2025, at 11 a.m. from Église St-Nom-de-Jésus, Beresford. Donations in memory of Doris can be made to the Moncton City Hospital Neuro ICU unit, Palliative Care unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice.
