Bathurst – Yvonne Blanchard, of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away on Friday May 30, 2025, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 69.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Yves and Marjorie (Lavigne) Blanchard.

She worked in the service industry for most of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Simmons and her son, Michael (Shelby Willett) of Bathurst.

Two granddaughters: Elizabeth and Lilly.

Two brothers: Paul Blanchard (Cindy) and Cleo Blanchard both of Edmunston.

Two sisters: Monique Blanchard (Pete) and Jacqueline Caron (Pete), both of Stratford, Ont.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother, Yvon.

There will be no visitation or funeral. Donations in memory of Marjorie can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a favorite charity.
