Nigadoo - It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Maurice Boudreau, of Nigadoo, at the age of 72 on August 30th, 2025.

Originally from Balmoral, Maurice was born in Campbellton, he was the son of the late Alcime Boudreau and Blandine Bernard.

Maurice was a boat enthusiast who loved and enjoyed everything revolving around nature. He was at his best while he was camping, fishing or hunting. Recently retired from being a college professor, he enjoyed travelling with his wife, Barbara, in the camper van he built. He was always able to find peace within nature, where it felt like home to him.

Maurice is survived by his loving wife; Barbara Pitre of Bathurst, who's been his life partner of 28 years and leaves behind his children: Jean-Patrick Pitre (Emilie Landry) of Nigadoo and Jennifer Henry (Pierre-Luc Henry) both of Nigadoo.

One granddaughter, Amélie.

Along with his late brother Rejean Boudreau, his sisters: Francine Boudreau and Gilberte Boudreau.

He also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Donations in memory of Maurice may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association of New-Brunswick or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated."

The family will have a celebration of life on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
