It is with deep love and sadness that we the family announce the passing of John A. Taylor, on September 29, 2025. John was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, the beloved son of Andrew Taylor and Yvonne Gray.
He was predeceased by his siblings Lawrence, Tommy, Dale, Dorothy, Joan and his parents, he is now joyfully reunited with them.
John shared a beautiful life with his wife, Annette Taylor, and together they raised a loving family. He was the proud father of Donna (Robert), Donald (Theresa),
Andrew (Kara), and he held a special place in his heart for his late son, Michael (survived by Carolyn)who now welcomes him home in heaven.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a caring father, and a man whose quiet strength and humor brightened the lives of those around him. His legacy continues through his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who will carry his spirit forward with love and laughter.
Known for his determination and big heart, John was always ready to lend a hand — especially when it came to helping his children with home renovations. Even when illness slowed him down, he proudly took on the role of “supervisor,” offering guidance, advice, and encouragement.
John faced a lifelong battle with cancer with courage, stubbornness, and resilience. His strength and unwavering will to live were an inspiration to all who knew him.
At John’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Association.
Forever in our hearts, he will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
