It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Sullivan, beloved husband of Wanda Sullivan, on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the age of 65.

Born in Bathurst in 1960, Daniel was the son of the late Austin Sullivan and the late Alice (DeGrasse) Sullivan.

Daniel will be remembered for living life to the beat of his own drum. He was passionate about his career as a miner and took great pride in his work. When not underground he had a deep love for motorcycles and the open road, as well as time spent with friends fishing, hunting, and reminiscing about the good old days. He often shared his favourite saying: “A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.”

He is lovingly remembered by his son, Justin Cormier (Tasha) of Moncton; his brothers, Frank (Wendy) Sullivan of Bathurst, Marc (Jennifer) Sullivan, and David (Stephanie) Sullivan, both of Alberta; as well as his nephews, Matthew and Zach, and his niece Megan.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Donations in memory of Daniel may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
