Bathurst - Mrs. Elodia Chamberlain, 89, wife of the late Allie Chamberlain, of Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (April 6, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Azade and Leonie (Brideau) Morais. She had worked many years ago at the Sir James Dunn Hospital and enjoyed sewing, quilting and knitting. She is survived by: Three sons: Roger (Bernice) of Bowmanville, ON Robert (Lorraine) of Bathurst Ronald (Lucy) of Salmon Beach Three sisters: Imelda MacAdams of Saint John, NB Laurine MacFee of Scarborough, ON Rita Comeau (Cajetan) of Petit-Rocher, NB One brother: Emery Morais (Gertrude) of Bathurst 7 grandchildren; Pauline, Carole, Robie, Tabatha, Jason, Penny Lynn, Deneen, 10 great-grandchildren; Stephanie, Danny, Randy, Isabella, Cody, Kayla, Allison, Brandy, Ronnie, Ryan, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 4 brothers; Aurele, Leo, Antoine, Richard and 1 step-son; Edmond. The body will rest after 7 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (April 10, 2008) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery later in the spring. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral.
