It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Elizabeth Rose Chiasson of Bathurst which occurred on Wednesday April 16, 2008 at the Chaleur regional Hospital in Bathurst. Elizabeth was born in Woodstock, NB on June 6, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Wilfred and the late Eugenie (Allison) Lenehan. Elizabeth was a retired schoolteacher and a retired Personal Banking Representative for the CIBC Branch in Bathurst, NB. She was a caring, loving person whom would give help whenever she could without expecting anything in return. Elizabeth was also a life member of the Bathurst Kinnettes Club. Elizabeth is survived by her two sons, Bryan Chiasson of Toronto, Ont. Kevin Chiasson of Amherst, NS The father of her children, J. George Chiasson of Fredericton, NB A brother John (Geraldine) Lenehan of Woodstock, NB. Nephew Timothy Lenehan of Woodstock, NB Many cousins in Woodstock, NB, Ontario, and throughout the USA, also survive her. Her parents and a sister Theresa Marie predeceased her. The body will rest at Elhatton Funeral Home, (www.elhatton.com) 187 St. George Street in Bathurst on Friday April 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place from the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Elizabeth, donations may be made to the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) or the family would appreciate a charity of the donor’s choice. Visiting hours for the late Elizabeth Chiasson are Friday April 18, 2008 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
