Bathurst … Mrs. Mathilda Roy, 77, wife of Adélard Roy of Packard St. Bathurst, passed away on Thursday July 31, 2008, at Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. Doucet and late Marie Anne Couture.
She is survived by:

Jacqueline Arseneau both of Bathurst,
Monique (Fernand) Chiasson of Allardville,
Daniel Roy (Sylvie Bernatchez) of Beresford,

Her seven grandchildren;
Eric, Karine, Gaëtanne, Mylène, Mélanie, Stéphanie and Sophie.
Her two great grandsons;
Samuel and Kaël.

Edmond (Raymonde) Doucet of Bathurst,
Lorraine (Normand) Godin of Beresford,

She was pre-deceased by one son; Patrice, one grandson; Jason, three sisters; Évangéline, Stella and Anita, two brothers; Théofred and Ronald.
The visitation was at the Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, Friday August 1st 2008.
Funeral mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Cathedral St.Andrews St.,Bathurst, Saturday August 2, 2008 at 2:00.
The burial was in the St.Mary’s cemetery.
