Sainte Rosette, NB - Mrs. Germaine Daigle, 72, wife of the late Frank L. Daigle, of Sainte Rosette and formerly of Bathurst, passed away on Monday (August 11, 2008) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a lengthy illness. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Eva (Chamberlain) Vienneau. She is survived by her companion, Bertrain Frenette. Five sons: Pierre (Linda Mazerolle) of Bathurst Charles (Dawn) of Middle River Guy (Cathy) of Fredericton Donald (Priscilla) of Big River Roger (Carole Robichaud) of Sainte Isidore Three daughters: Pierrette Daigle (René Fournier) of Middle River Huguette Daigle (Rick Woods) of Fredericton Nicole Gauthier (Jean-Marc) of Bathurst Seven brothers: Emilien (Pierrette), Henri both of Nicholas Denys Réginald, Octave (Eveline), Onil (Rita), Aurèle (Jeannette Pitre) and Omer all of Robertville Seven sisters: Evangeline Bertin (Joseph Duguay), Angelina Boudreau (late Yvon), Francine Vienneau (Joey Lanteigne), all of Robertville Odila Lavigne (Hector) of Dunlop Yvette Melanson (Edgar) of Montreal Maria Hachey (Edmond) of Nicholas Denys Irene Lagacy of Bathurst 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister; Elizabeth Hachey. The family will receive relatives and friends after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (August 16, 2008) at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church (Eglise Notre Dame du Rosaire), Bathurst. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 only.
