Mr. Stanislas Guignard, 87, of Allardville, passed away on Tuesday October 7, 2008, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness.
Born in Petite Lamèque, he was the son of late Léocadie (Doiron) and late Philippe Guignard.
He is survived by:
Five daughters and three sons;
Patricia (late Roger Guignard) and (John Smith) of Bathurst,
Jérome Guignard (Marguerite)of Fredericton,
Dorilla Guignard (Omer Mallet)of Allardville,
Eugénie Guignard (Denis Belair)of Warwick, Que,
Bernard Guignard of Scarborough, ON,
Nicolas Guignard (Lisette Godin) of Bathurst,
Edith Guignard of Bathurst,
Ernestine Guignard (Donald Doucet)of Allardville.
Two brothers;
Achille Guignard (Eleaner) of St-John et
Adélard Guignard (Freda) of St-Sauveur.
21 grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great great grandchildren.
Also on sister-in-law; Verna Plourde and one brother-in-law; Emile (Germaine) Raiche.
He was predeceased by his first wife; Marie Eugénie (Raiche) Guignard and second his second wife, Paula (Savoie) Guignard, his brothers and sisters; Gélas, Midas, Ernestine, Léocadie, Emérentienne, Cécile, Jérémie, Georgie.
The body is resting at the Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton) of Bathurst, Thursday October 9 2008 from 7 to 9 and Friday October 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday October 11 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. from Eglise Christ Roi, Allardville.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
