Bathurst- Frank W. Jamieson, husband of Elsie (Ronald) Jamieson of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes and formerly of Caron Drive in Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday 15 April, 2009 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 84. Born in Bathurst, NB, he was the son of the late William and the late Mary (McLellan) Jamieson. Frank was employed at the former Consolidated Bathurst paper mill. He was also a member of the masonic Lodge St John AF&M # 27 in Bathurst. Frank was the last living member of his immediate family. Besides his wife Elsie, Frank is survived by: 2 sons: Ronald Jamieson of Bathurst Steven (Josie) Jamieson of Edmonton, Alberta. His brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Rauleigh and Joanna Ronald of Bathurst. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. 3 sisters; Isabel, Ina and Hazel; also, two brothers: George and Willard, and a sister-in-law; Dorothy-Jean predeceased him. There will be no visitations at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held from the St. George's Anglican Church, King Ave. on Monday 20 April, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the St Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Bridge St., Bathurst later this spring. In memory of Frank, donations to the Canadian Dystonia Foundation (www.dystoniacanada.org), the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
