Bathurst - Mrs. Violette Paulin, 83, wife of the late Hervé Paulin, of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes and formerly of Alexander St., Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (June 30, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Beresford, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary Elizabeth (Thibault) Doucet. She was a former employee of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes as a Nurses Aid. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Hervé, in 1997. She is survived by: Three daughters: Norma Perron (Jean-Paul) of Middle River Jacinthe Mattison (Matt) of New Mexico, USA Carol Ann Paulin of Bathurst Two sons: Joseph (Liz) of Rough Waters Paul (Suzanne) of Bathurst One brother: Alban Doucet of Inkerman 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday morning (July 4, 2009) at 11 a.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Edmond Chamberlain officiating.
