Bathurst - Mrs. Dora Duclos, 82, wife of the late Elzear Duclos, of Victoria Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (November 29, 2009) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Pigeon Hill, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Célina (Lavigne) Gauvin. She is survived by: Five daughters: Rejeanne Duclos of Bathurst Irene Leger (Kenneth) of Nackawic, NB Lorraine Duclos of Moncton Dianne Welsh (Roger) and Nicole Duclos both of Lower Sackville, NS Three sons: Robert (Carole) and Roger both of Bathurst Michael of Montreal, QC Four brothers: Gerard Gauvin of Sept Iles, QC Howard Gauvin (Marielle) and Armand Gauvin (Denise) both of Shippagan Athanase Gauvin (Mary) of Kingston, ON Six sisters: Rita Larocque, Florence Nisson and Hélène Tremblay, all of Sept Iles, QC Vina Larocque, Alice Mallet and Clara Roussel (Oliva), all of Shippagan 8 grandchildren; Louise Anne, Danielle, Francois, Heather, Natasha, René, Karine, Annik, 3 great-grandchildren; Callista, Elodie, Felix, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son; Edgar and a sister; Bella Arsenault. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (December 2, 2009) at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Dora may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or a favorite charity.
