Stonehaven - Chester Royce Jagoe, 59, of Stonehaven, passed away suddenly on Thursday (January 28, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst October 24, 1950, he was the son of Vera (Ramsay) Jagoe and the late Hazen Jagoe. Besides his mother of Stonehaven, he is survived by: Brothers: Ronald (Peggy) of Stonehaven Robert of Bathurst Three nephews; John Sealy, Christopher Jagoe, Charles Jagoe and two nieces; Irma Mulherin and Marcie Munroe. He was pre-deceased by a sister; Irma and a brother; Lyndell. Royce attended Flowers of Hope School in Bathurst and was a member of the Central United Church, Clifton. He loved meeting people and they were most often greeted with a big hug. He enjoyed reading, listening to music (especially Fiddle music) to which he loved to step dance and working on crossword puzzles. He will be greatly missed by his immediate family and his caregiver, Ann Borden. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday (February 21, 2010) at 2 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton. Donations in memory of Royce may be made to the Central United Church, the Evangel Mission Team, Bathurst or a favorite charity.
