Barbara Ann Mazerolle - 60, of Birch Drive, South Tetagouche, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at her residence.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Geraldine (Jennings) Lavigne.

Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she enjoyed children very much.

She is survived by her husband, Emile;

2 sons:

Roger (Karen) of Bathurst;

Douglas (Sandy) of Fort McMurray, AB;

1 daughter:

Rebecca (Jason) Mazerolle of Fort McMurray, AB;

6 grandchildren:  Samantha, Katie, Raven, Matthieu, Tyler and Kalie.

3 sisters:

Lillian  (Adrien) Hachey;

Shirley Lavigne both of Bathurst;

Audrey (Kenneth) Lavigne of Ottawa;

3 brothers:

Kenneth (Doris);

Clifford (Donna)

Aurele (Glenda) all of Bathurst;

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 at Elhatton's Funeral Home, 187 St. George St., Bathurst, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Tuesday from 2 PM until time of funeral.   A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 4 PM from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave.  Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.  www.elhatton.com
