Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Hilda (Hadley) Glidden and the late Walter Glidden.

Hadley was well known in the Bathurst area where he owned and operated several businesses.

Tara Glidden (Jason Chapman) of Truro, NS

Shelley Glidden (Steve Hodgson) of Calgary, AB

One son:

Micheal Fox of Bathurst

Two sisters:

Joyce Smearer of Calgary, AB

Thelma Lepan of Bathurst

One brother:

Byron (Vilma) of Beresford

One grandson; Ryan, several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers:  Glen, James, sisters; Norma, Ann and Shirley.

Visitation will be held on Thursday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.ehlatton.com), Bathurst, from 2-4 and 7-9 only.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 4 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave.  Donations in memory of Hadley may be made to World Vision or a favourite charity.
