Bathurst - Mrs Sylvia Gionet, 63, wife of Patrice Gionet, originally of Ste. Rosette, passed away Saturday, October 23 2010, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Rouyn Noranda, QC, she was the daughter of the late Ronald S. and Marion Kathleen (Armstrong) Haflidson.

Beside her husband of Ste Rosette, she is survived by two daughters; Barbara Gionet of Fredericton, N.B. and Wendy (Bruce Legacy) of Scarborough, Ont.  Three granddaughters; Krystal, Kayla and Alexa.  One sister, Margaret Siebring (Léonard) of Union Bay B.C.  Three brothers; John (Gwen) of North Bay, ON, Steve (Stephanie) of Toronto, ON, William (Fatima) of Bolton, ON, and many nieces and nephews.  Visitations will be held at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Thursday, October 28 2010 from 2 to 4, with prayer service at 3h45. In memory of Sylvia, a donation may be made to Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
