Robertville - Emmanuel Roy, 85, of Robertville, passed away on Monday (January 23, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Robertville, he was son of the late Albert Roy and late Brigitte Haché.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Exilda (Vienneau) Roy, and is survived by thirteen children:

six daughters: Rosella Hachey (Roger), Yolande Haché (Victorin), Lucienne Frenette (Michel), Yvette Pelletier (Gilbert), Noëlla Boudreau (Edgar) and Michella;

seven sons: Jacques (Odina), Emilien (Sylvie), Valmond (Suzanne), Alcide, Roger (Brenda), Gilbert (Sylie) and Patrick (Louise);

a sister, Imalva Frenette.

23 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a son, Maurice; a daughter, Bernadette; seven sisters and three brothers.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 7 pm from Eglise Sainte-Thérèse d’ Avilla, Robertville. Donations in memory of Emmanuel may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.
