Napanee, ON - Mrs. Mary Elsie Baldwin, 85, wife of the late Clifford Baldwin, of Riverine in Napanee, ON, and formerly of Bathurst, died Friday (November 5, 2004) at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital in Napanee, ON, after a brief illness and with her family by her side. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Mauzerolle) Doucet. She was active, as a volunteer, for many years with the C.N.I.B. and also with the Mental Health Association where she served on the executive. She was a member of the Holy Family Church Catholic Women's League and various social groups. She was pre-deceased by her husband Clifford in 1969. Lovingly remembered by her children: Three daughters: E. Ann (Mervin Connery) of Napanee, ON Margaret Baldwin of Lakeside, NS Joan Baldwin of Montreal, Que. Five sons: Michael Baldwin (Marnie) of Grand Prairie, AB Jim Baldwin (Cathy) of Almonte, ON Joe Baldwin (Margie) of St.Petersburg, Florida, USA Clifford Baldwin of Ottawa, ON and John Baldwin (Michele) of Miramichi, NB She will be sadly missed by: A sister: Ursula Hyman of Montreal, Que. Five brothers: Vincent Doucet of Montreal, Que. Giles Doucet of Rexton, NB Maurice Doucet (Gladys) of Moncton, NB Roe Doucet (Noreen) of Miramichi, NB Lorenzo Doucet of Belleville, ON Fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning (November 9, 2004) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
