Oromocto - Mrs. Gladys Wiseman, 82, wife of the late Roscoe Wiseman, of Oromocto and formerly of Canobie, past away peacefully on Monday (March 14, 2005) at the Oromocto Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Rutherglen, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Jean (Anderson) Arbuckle. She came to Canada as a war bride, shortly after World War II ended. She was pre-deceased by her best friend and sweetheart of 60 plus years, Roscoe Wiseman, in 2003. She is survived by: Four sons: Sydney Wiseman (Kathy) of Goodwin Mills, NB James Wiseman (Linda) of Winnipeg, MB Bruce Wiseman (Patti) of Teslin, YK Bob Wiseman (Jo-Ann) of Oromocto, NB Three daughters: Heather Harriman (Jerry) of Calgary, AB Margaret Hillier (Randy) of Windsor, ON Ruth Wiseman (Kenneth Doucet) of Calgary, AB One sister : Nettie Moffat (late James) of Toronto, ON 21 Grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her eldest son, George The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday (March 17, 2005) at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Highland View Cemetery, Bridge St., in the spring. www.elhatton.com Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday at the Chapel from 1 p.m. until time of service.
